Role purpose:
Carry lead responsibility for day to day delivery of administration services to client group(s) as required.
As part of the management team, drive operational excellence, efficiency and productivity in the delivery of trust and corporate services.
 
Core responsibilities:
  • Oversee delivery of administration services to client groups as required.
  • Liaise with clients, intermediaries and attend client meetings.
  • Provide technical and management support to the department liaising with the Client Service Director(s).
  • Act as authorised signatory, as required.
  • Lead and manage change initiatives where identified and agreed as action items ensuring that they deliver to time and budget.
  • Be a contributor to the technical, training and business development activities for the Firm as a whole where such opportunities arise.
  • Maintain awareness of business and regulatory environment.
 
Working with other members of the management team:-
  • Manage and meet the team’s financial and non-financial targets including revenue, debtors, accounts, annual and interim case reviews, action points, budget reporting, staff appraisals and the co-ordination of billing.
  • Implement agreed strategies by developing project plans to meet objectives in conjunction with the management team and staff.
  • Drive operational efficiency improvements across all and any aspects of the department’s activities, including with the use of appropriate facilitating technologies such as Sharepoint and Microgen 5 series.
  • Ensure that the trust and corporate service is conducted in accordance with the Firm’s professional standards, policies, procedures, risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote teamwork, develop people and positively influence constructive engagement and morale in the department.
 
Technical / Professional / Qualification Requirements:
  • ICSA or STEP Diploma completed.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
  • Regulatory training undertaken.
  • Understanding of the Codes of Practice.
  • Management Training Undertaken.
