They say 'time flies when you are having fun' and as I approach my third anniversary with Moore Stephens, that statement certainly resonates with me!
Having previously spent almost 19 years with an independently owned Trust Company, I felt the only move for me was to a firm who has a similar ownership model (and autonomy from investors), as I believe that being independent is the only way to ensure the long term interests of our clients.
My move to Moore Stephens to head up the Guernsey fiduciary service offering in October 2018 culminated with the elevation of Sam Bird to Channel Islands CEO shortly after and I was promoted to Managing Director with effect from 1 January 2020.
During this relatively short time, we have restructured from a Partnership to a Corporate structure to strengthen Corporate Governance surrounding all of our activities and business sectors, we have undertaken a complete review of our internal policies, procedures and governance framework and we have recently moved to more modern offices which has been extremely well received by everyone connected to Moore Stephens.
All of the above could not have happened without having a great team and excellent teamwork throughout the business. We are proud that almost all members of our team are either professionally qualified or taking relevant qualifications, which is reinforced by the firm’s commitment to encourage and support the continued development of our team.
As the Guernsey office of Moore Stephens edges closer to its 50th anniversary of being in Guernsey (in 2023), I am very excited about our future growth plans and we are always on the lookout for talented people who wish to share in our continued success story, so if this is you, please do get in touch.
