Role purpose:

Being a member of a dedicated and progressive team, providing comprehensive administration services to our international client base and their structures, whilst administering a complex client portfolio.

Core responsibilities:

  • Administer a complex client portfolio, which may include Trusts, Companies, Foundations and Limited Partnerships;
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with your team, intermediaries, clients and client advisors;
  • Provide day to day training to Assistant Administrators and in doing so build up their confidence and knowledge of Trust and Corporate services;
  • Undertake the billing and debt collection for your client portfolio;
  • Undertake the initial review of Working Papers files for the annual Accounts / Financial Statements for your client portfolio;
  • Acquire, monitor and dispose of assets held within your client portfolio in accordance with the Office Procedures Manual;
  • Prepare written correspondence, Board / Trustee minutes and checklists, as necessary (or review such work if you are responsible for the training of an Assistant Administrator);
  • Maintain your clients' files in an orderly manner, ensuring documents are filed correctly and in a timely manner (or review such work if you are responsible for the training of an Assistant Administrator);
  • Undertake periodic reviews of your client files, as necessary;
  • Provide general assistance to the Assistant Manager / Manager when required.

Technical / Professional / Qualification Requirements:

  • Completion of a relevant Professional Qualification (i.e. ICSA or STEP Diploma Level);
  • Evidence of sufficient Continuous Professional Development (CPD);
  • Understanding and experience of compliance, risk and the mitigation thereof;
  • Understanding of CRS/FATCA and economic substance, and experience with the classification thereof;
  • Acting as a ā€œCā€ Signatory if required;
  • A competent understanding of Jersey Regulatory Environment and applicable Company and Trust Laws;
  • Basic awareness of UK taxation for individuals and offshore structures;
  • Awareness of current Anti-Money Laundering (AML) legislation and related codes of practice;
  • Aware of current GDPR legislation;
  • Transactional / restructuring experience.
