Sector: Trainee Bookkeeper

Role purpose:

To be trained to provide accurate and efficient client bookkeeping services to trial balance and to assist in the accounts production and reporting process for a variety of clients in Private Client Services.

Core responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of full bookkeeping records for PCS client entities.
  • Reconcile ledgers to bank statements, investment reports and other relevant source material.
  • Ensure that transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Preparation of accounting checklists, where necessary.
  • Liaise with administrators, accountants, external banks, and portfolio managers to expedite the timely preparation of accounts.
    Keep up-to-date records of position of all bookkeeping requirements utilising existing spreadsheets for onward reporting and tracking purposes.

Technical / Professional / Qualification Requirements:

  • Graduate or School Leaver
